Provided staffing support for the 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, co-founded by our E.D., which showcases local Black history in an immersive and interactive art installation as well as a day-long block party celebrating Black culture. Many folks who don’t normally, or often, get together in public spaces come out to this event, providing HCHC an important opportunity to re-connect and/or build new relationships with community members. 

Hosted our 2nd annual Pre-Sankofa Benefit Concert that both showcased local artistic talent while raising funds for one of our community-based organizations, Operation Unite and the Alan Skarrett Scholarship Fund.
