THE HUDSON BREATHE ACT.
The Hudson Breathe Act reinvests our taxpayer dollars into housing and community services with a new vision of public safety. We are currently focusing on banning no-knock warrants in the city of Hudson, which are unconstitutional and cause needless injury and death.

CLEAN SLATE NEW YORK.
Across New York, we’re seeing our movement achieve historic wins for fairness, racial justice, public health, and public safety.
The Clean Slate NY campaign is part of that - it is fighting for a new law (S211/A1029) that will automatically clear a New Yorker’s conviction record once they become eligible.
The civil damage a conviction record can inflict is often wide-ranging and enduring—permanently barring many individuals from basic opportunities like stable jobs, licenses to practice trades, and safe, secure housing.
Clean Slate NY is about strengthening our communities by ensuring that New Yorkers are not punished beyond their sentences and can be full and fair participants in economic and civic life.

Hudson/Catskill Housing Coalition (HCHC) is founded and led by Black organizers from the SBK Social Justice Center. HCHC began as a partnership between tenants from public housing projects in Hudson and Catskill to address the similar crises facing those tenants, as well as low-income residents more broadly—the majority of whom are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color—in white, rural Columbia and Greene Counties.
