Thrilling news from Hudson Catskill Housing Coalition! 🥳

Earlier this month, Black to the Future Public Policy announced that some of the HCHC staff's team are also fellows of the 2021-2022 Black to the Future Public Policy Institute! 

Black to the Future Public Policy Institute is part of the Black Futures Lab headed by Alicia Garza, one of the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter movement and a powerhouse in Black activism. HCHC is 1 of 9 organizations across the country that is part of this fellowship to empower Black communities with political power.

HCHC’s goal is to focus on advancing equity and justice in the expungement process via the Clean Slate Act and continue making progress in the work we’re doing for Rural Black communities specifically and Black communities nationally.
